Coverage
Loss of or Damage to Motor Car
  • Cover loss of or damage to Motor Car due to collision, fire, theft or other accidents.
Third Party Legal Liabilities
    This policy pays the amount which insured driver is legally liable for:
  • Death or bodily injury to third party (Maximum benefit of HK$100,000,000)
  • Damage to third party property as a result of an accident arising out of the Motor Car (Maximum benefit of HK$2,000,000)
Medical Expenses
  • A maximum of HK$5,000 will be provided to cover the medical expenses from bodily injury sustained in an accident to Motor Car.
Windscreen Damage - Excess Waiver
  • In respect of loss or damage occasioned to glass windscreens and/or sun roof of the Motor Car where repair thereof does not exceed HK$5,000 for each event. You can keep your No Claims Discount as well.
“New For Old” Compensation
    If Motor car is less than 12 calendar months (from the date of its first registration) and sustains a total loss, Pay in cash or give a new one of the same model and make provided that: (without deducting any depreciation*)
  • The net purchase price of the replacement vehicle does not exceed the sum insured of the Motor Car; and
  • The replacement vehicle does not take into account of any modifications, additional accessories and equipment having been installed into Motor Car.
    • * The first registration of the car must be made within 12 calendar months from the date of its manufacture.
Motor Personal Accident
    HK$200,000 compensation will be provided for any insured driver in the event of an accident while driving Motor Car which shall within 3 calendar months of the occurance of such injury result in:
  • Death; or
  • The loss by physical separation at or above the wrist or ankle of one or both hands or feets; or
  • The complete and irrecoverable loss of sight in one or both eyes; or
  • Permanet Total Disablement

    Round the clock assistance anytime, anywhere in Hong Kong:
  • 24-Hour Emergency Roadside Assistance
  • 24-Hour Free Towing Service
  • Alternate Car when Motor Car is stolen or immobilised due to an accident
  • 24-Hour Claims Advisory Service
  • 24-Hour General Advisory Service

Unless otherwise stated and subject to any sub-limit as stated in any section, MSIG Insurance (Hong Kong) Limited will reimburse up to the maximum indemnity as stated in the Schedule per policy.
