General Terms & Conditions
- The promotion period is from 7 December 2020 to 6 December 2021 (both days inclusive) ("Promotion Period").
- Any “Home Contents” & “Valuable Property” purchased anywhere in the world by Eligible AEON Card Premium Credit Card3 or Eligible AEON Credit Card4 can enjoy 30 days comprehensive protection to cover the repair or replacement cost for the loss of or damage to these insured properties within your home directly caused by burglary, fire, typhoon, gas explosion, flood, landslip and subsidence.
- Eligible AEON Card Premium Credit Card means AEON Card Premium Visa (card number starting with 41700628), AEON Card Premium Mastercard (card number starting with 52009828) and AEON Card Premium UnionPay (card number starting with 62448928).
- Eligible AEON Credit Card means AEON Visa Credit Card (card number starting with 45040501), AEON Mastercard Credit Card (card number starting with 54173650), AEON JCB Credit Card (card number starting with 35687004), AEON UnionPay Credit Card (card number starting with 62249302) and AEON Card JAL (card number starting with 55931802).
- Each Eligible AEON Card Premium Credit Card or Eligible AEON Credit Card is entitled to a maximum of one claim of the above protection and up to three articles per claim during the Promotion Period.
- All matters or disputes in relation to the promotional offers and the interpretation of terms and conditions herein shall be subject to the decision of AEON and MSIG, which shall be final and binding.
- If there is any inconsistency or conflict between the English and the Chinese versions of these terms and conditions and any details of the promotional offers, the English version shall prevail.
Important Notes
- The above insurance protection is underwritten by MSIG Insurance (Hong Kong) Limited ("MSIG"). AEON Credit Service (Asia) Co., Ltd. ("AEON") is an authorised insurance agent of MSIG.
- “Home Contents” means furniture, furnishings, household goods and appliances, personal effects, desktop or tablet or laptop computers, mobile phones or portable telecommunication equipment, not being excluded in the policy wording.
- “Valuable Property” means jewellery, items of gold, silver or other precious metals, items of crystal and precious stones, collection of stamps, coins or medals, watches (exclude Octopus watch), photographic equipment, binoculars, works of art, Chinaware, curios, furs, musical instruments.
- “Insured Period” means from the date of purchase until 23:59 hours (Hong Kong time) on the 30th day thereafter. For the insured properties purchased with delivery arrangement by delivery company, the Insured Period commences from the date when the purchased article is received in good condition by the insured person.
- AEON MSIG Insurance Service Hotline is a dedicated enquiry hotline for AEON customers serviced by MSIG.
- Any product information provided by or through AEON is for reference only. For details of coverage, terms, conditions, and exclusions, please refer to the insurance policy wording on MSIG's website, which shall prevail in case of inconsistency.
- vii. All matters or disputes in relation to the MSIG's products, the promotional offers and the interpretation of the respective terms and conditions shall be subject to the decision of MSIG, which shall be final and binding.
